Anyone know what's up with YouTube?
It won’t acknowledge the video I uploaded.  I even tried uploading it my own channel after uploading it to HPoA twice without success. :(   I know they YT sometimes takes a while to process uploads, but they always at least list it at the top of our video list and show the ancillary stuff (like the video description, where and when you filmed it, and so on).  But this time: _nothing_,...

They're not oversensitive; you're being offensive.
xodaisyvoxo: I can’t stand how some people will defend their ignorance. Please don’t defend being downright bigoted and offensive by slamming people for being “oversensitive” or for “hating”. If a person posts racist, homophobic, stereotypical crap, they shouldn’t be surprised if people “hate”. Notice, people, that they don’t hate you, per se, but they hate your ideas, and they have a right to....

Reports: Homophobia by =prosaix →
kakkobean: aiiim: melonella: but-for-the-grace: A stamp on deviantART reading “Homophobe and proud of it” isn’t considered hate art by the admins. Stay classy, dA. Oh wow. I once reported a pro-homophobia group on last.fm and it was gone within 24 hours. This is part of why I’m a subscriber on last.fm and disabled my DA account last night. What a bummer, I’ve met some really cool...

Tax Cuts and Unemployment Benefits.
xodaisyvoxo: Some call it “the tax cut for the rich”. It doesn’t affect my parents, but I don’t like it, to be honest. People who make six figures make up 1% of America, and yet this country is too friendly towards the rich. I’m not exaggerating. We ridiculously protect corporate powers in the name of capitalism. The economy is regulated to benefit the wealthy. If this trend continues, there...

silk is ealy, so soft and smooth!
I posted about this before – the video of Conan O’Brien in India – but I just have to declare again how wonderful silk fabric is! Recently someone wrote to me on my twitter admitting to sharing my (and apparently Conan’s) obsession with silk, and I’ve been over the Moon, ever since! :)  It’s like when I found AVEN and learned there were other Asexuals out there – that...

I take bigotry very seriously.
xodaisyvoxo: Nobody deserves to be discriminated against. Every human being has dignity and pride. Those things shouldn’t be stepped on. No one has a right to degrade others for being who they are. I commend the strong minded for standing up for themselves, but I understand that not all people feel empowered and confident, and sometimes, they can’t be blamed. I’ve said in previous posts that one...

How stupid could I be?
I ate about a tablespoon of roasted cacao nibs earlier this evening, and then when I was out at dinner with my parents, I had a glass of wine because they were finally having organic wine (I won’t drink non-organic wine, because of all the chemicals they put in it).  Anyway, while I was able to get a few things done around the house just after I got home, I’m now as wired as it gets! ...
