juuuuuuuust maybe. a lot of my books and reference stuff was from the 90’s, but the tv shows I watched were fairly current. thank goodness I don’t plan on going into Business in Japan

Yeah. Rather than continue to point out the speck in Japan’s eye, I’ll examine the log in the U.S.’s eye: a country like ours that uses disproportionately many of the world’s resources (which I believe comes indirectly from our irrational adherence to prescribed gender-roles and the undervaluing of traditionally “woman’s work” — thus undervaluing values like caring, sharing, cooperation, education of the young, and “soft” power), seems to me to be cooking it’s own goose, so to speak. If the U.S. goes the way of Rome, I won’t wonder why. .___.

With that extremely sad thought, I think I *YAWN* need to go to bed.
