Abortion really has nothing to do with God. Abortion has to do with someone taking another person’s life into his or her own hands. Abortion has to do with ending an innocent life. Abortion has to do with disregarding someone’s rights. Abortion has to do with making the excuse that the child is not a “person” because he or she is still in the womb. What would you do if your mom had an abortion?
If my mother (who is prochoice by the way) had indeed had an abortion, then I would not have been around to care. All that matters to me is if she had made the choice that was right for her. And if my mom had aborted a fetus that was not me, I would have supported her in every way possible. Potential life is not more important than actual life.
My mum had two abortions before me. And a fetus has the same rights as the rest of us. It doesn’t get to use a person’s body without their ongoing consent.
